Samia is thrilled to win a sight-seeing holiday to Europe, but when shots are fired in the middle of the night on the Euro Metro, it becomes clear that this is no ordinary school trip.

The enigmatic chaperone, Miss Watson, is forced to admit that the trip is being used as cover for a spying mission. Her colleague in M16 has vanished—presumed dead—and has left behind a trail of cryptic clues leading to vital information.

Samia, and her fellow prize-winners, Ava and Frankie, are catapulted into a world of art, espionage, and terrible danger. Can the children solve the fiendish clues hidden on famous European landmarks and avoid the scary strangers who are stalking their every move?

Reviews

Euro Spies is a fast moving and exciting adventure story which explores Europe through landmarks and food.I would recommend Euro Spies as a read aloud in Y5 or Y6 and to add to the adventure section in a class or library. It would also be a great accompaniment to a topic on Europe and a good stimulus for writing a variety of different texts such as city guides, postcards or food reviews. Let’s hope that the Euro Spies continue their adventures! https://justimagine.co.uk/childrens-books-review/euro-spies/

Think inter-railing blended with the Da Vinci Code, written for a middle grade readership and you will have some idea of the content of this super-enjoyable, espionage adventure! https://vsviewfromthebookshelves.home.blog/2023/05/01/mg-book-review-euro-spies-by-lindsay-littleson/
